About the role
Transcribe qualitative research audio recordings accurately and confidentially for a malaria study in Sokoto. Produce de-identified transcripts and approved translations under supervision.
What you’ll do
• Produce accurate verbatim transcripts and approved translations. • Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of recordings. • Distinguish speakers using approved codes. • Review transcripts against audio for errors. • Submit transcripts within agreed timeframe.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. • At least one year transcribing qualitative interviews. • Proficient in English and local languages. • Good listening, typing and attention to detail. • Understanding of research ethics and confidentiality.
