About the role
The Company Legal Officer protects the legal interests of Standard Life Organization by providing legal advice, managing risks, supporting loan recovery, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies. The role involves working closely with various departments to safeguard the organisation's assets and reputation.
What you’ll do
• Provide legal advice to management and departments. • Support loan recovery and debt management processes. • Manage litigation and dispute resolution. • Draft and review contracts and agreements. • Ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Barrister-at-Law (B.L.). • 3-5 years post-call legal experience. • Experience in debt recovery, litigation, contract drafting. • Strong knowledge of Nigerian commercial and corporate law. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
