About the role
Review medical insurance claims for resolution and payment. Resolve inquiries and payment denials from insurance providers.
What you’ll do
• Review all medical insurance claims for resolution and payment. • Resolve inquiries or payment denials from insurance providers. • Research and respond to documentation requests from insurance carriers. • Contact insurance carriers to collect on open account balances.
What you’ll bring
• Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement. • Understanding of explanation of benefits (EOB). • At least one year medical billing or collections experience. • EMR or GE Centricity software experience preferred. • Medical Oncology or related experience preferred.
