About the role
Support establishment of a new chemical manufacturing facility by specifying, procuring, designing, building, testing, and commissioning chemical process equipment. Work onsite in Penrose, CO, shifting to Pueblo, CO within a year.
What you’ll do
• Translate lab data into process requirements and equipment specs. • Procure industrial equipment meeting cost, schedule, and performance. • Develop and build solutions with technician team when needed. • Test, refine, and commission equipment for operation. • Identify and track engineering risks and mitigations.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or 4+ years experience. • Experience in design, testing, iteration, and scale-up. • Project execution on schedule, budget, and quality. • Knowledge of mass/energy balances, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics. • Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
