About the role
Serve as a technical application scientist supporting Twist's NGS customers and sales team. Provide pre- and post-sales bioinformatics support and custom NGS panel design.
What you’ll do
• Provide expert technical support in pre and post sales discussions. • Design custom NGS panels to meet customer goals. • Support NGS data analysis and troubleshooting. • Assist sales team with technical presentations and meetings. • Liaise between customers and internal teams including R&D and Production.
What you’ll bring
• PhD with 2+ years or BS/MS with 7+ years biotech experience. • Strong knowledge of NGS applications and bioinformatics. • Experience with bioinformatic tools like BWA, GATK, IGV. • Proficient in Linux and command line applications. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
