About the role
The Billing Operations Lead oversees and optimizes the billing lifecycle across Instacart Marketplace retailers, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely month-end close. This role partners with multiple teams to drive accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
• Own billing portfolios across retail partners and revenue streams. • Develop and maintain billing policies and SOPs. • Build dashboards and KPIs to track billing health. • Scope and deliver billing system enhancements and automation. • Enforce internal controls and mentor junior team members.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 5+ years in Billing Operations or Order-to-Cash. • 2+ years leading billing or quote-to-cash projects. • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and billing platforms. • Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL.
