About the role
Develop and maintain GitLab's agentic AI platform backend using Ruby and Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI features.
What you’ll do
• Develop and maintain Duo Agent Platform features in Ruby and Python. • Design and review GraphQL and REST APIs. • Improve automated testing with RSpec and other frameworks. • Participate in Tier 2 on-call rotations for production issues. • Share standards and learnings for responsible AI integration.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with Ruby on Rails production applications. • Familiarity with Python backends and/or Vue frontends is a plus. • Skill designing scalable REST and GraphQL APIs. • Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work. • Proven SQL and PostgreSQL experience.
