About the role
The AML Investigator III detects suspicious activity, conducts investigations, and helps protect Mercury and customers from financial crimes. The role involves transaction monitoring, case management, and drafting reports on unusual activity.
What you’ll do
• Implement and tune transaction monitoring rules. • Review AML and financial crime alerts. • Contact users for account information. • Investigate Requests for Information from partner banks. • Document findings and escalate suspicious activity.
What you’ll bring
• Experience identifying money laundering or financial crimes. • Fluent in bank transaction types and processes. • Familiarity with business banking and international activity. • Strong communication and empathy skills. • Ability to manage relationships and work efficiently.
