About the role
Own the AI developer experience end to end for PlanetScale databases. Build integrations, measure performance, and create demos and content to showcase AI tooling.
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain AI marketplace plugins and integrations. • Test MCP server and CLI across AI coding tools. • Fix friction in database creation and debugging inside agents. • Measure agent usage and benchmark performance. • Create demos, docs, blogs, videos, and attend conferences.
What you’ll bring
• Daily use of AI coding agents with strong opinions. • Experience building MCP server, plugin, CLI or SDK. • Software engineering in TypeScript and Go. • Experience with relational databases and schema design. • Strong communication and content creation skills.
